Computer Boot Camp for Genealogists: Become a Power User in 4 Weeks

Are you tired of having to ask other people how to do simple tasks on the computer, like:  how to download a file

  • “how do I download a file?”
  • “where’s the file I downloaded?”
  • “what’s the right button on the mouse?”
  • “what’s a keyboard shortcut?”
  • “how do I make a genealogy folder?”
  • “what’s a browser?”
  • “how do I organize my bookmarks or favorites?”
  • “what’s an add-on?”
  • “what’s a widget?”

If this sounds like you, march over to Family Tree University and enroll in Computer Boot Camp – a four week course that will take you from computer novice to power user.

“This weeks lesson was awesome! I can’t believe how many relevant things I learned. I am so excited to put everything into practice as I learn best by doing & repeating.”  Patti

Using the computer shouldn’t be a frustrating experience.  In fact, it’s meant to make your online life easier, not more difficult.  However, if you don’t know how to do basic tasks, you can reach a point where you don’t want to be online at all. And if you’re not online, you’re missing a whole lot of family tree fun :)

The classes are easy to follow; there are a lot of videos that walk you step-by-step through tasks, and I’m always available to explain anything you’re having problems with.  If you let me know a specific task that isn’t covered in the class I’ll even make a little video for you that walks you through the process.

With all of the genealogy information coming onto the Internet, you do NOT want to be left out because you don’t feel confident on the computer.  Classes begin monthly – so come on over to Family Tree University and enroll.  You won’t believe how much you’ll learn in just four short weeks.
